Zoë is a sophomore on the SLI Team. She was part of the second place
team at TARC last year. She enjoys Skiing, hiking, windsurfing, and
watching movies. Zoë is in charge of outreach and is the safety officer for the team. Zoë plays the Viola and is learning French and Latin. She designed the t-shirt that will be used in this years WJCL (Wisconsin Junior Classical League) conference.

Maia is a sophmore and joined West Rocketry at the beginning of the 2006-2007 school year. She is this years payload team leader and webmaster. Besides rocketry, Maia is also plays oboe in both the school band and the Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra, and is learning the great highland bagpipes. She is also learning both spanish and old english. Maia is an avid reader and enjoys coding websites. |

John joined West Rocketry halfway through the 2006-2007 school year as a freshman and competed at the 2007 TARC Nationals. He is in charge of electronics for the SLI 2008 Project. John enjoys computers and technology, is a Cross Country and Track runner and plays the Alto Saxophone. |

Tenzin Sonam is currently a sophmore at Madison West High School. He
joined Madison West Rocketry Club in 2006 as a TARC member. Tenzin
competed in Math Team and participated in his school's soccer team. He
greatly enjoys rocketry and playing soccer. |

Alec Walker is a junior at West High School. He started out as a vehicle designer in TARC in 2006. He was the lead vehicle design engineer and in charge of electronics on SLI 2006-2007. This year he is the head electronics and deployment engineer. Aside from rocketry, Alec enjoys playing guitar and baseball, rowing, biking and is also an avid outdoorsman. He plans to pursue a career in medicine. |

Rose is currently a sophomore at West High. Besides rocket club, she is also in the Math Team and participated in Science Olympiad last year. Rose enjoys skiing, drawing, animation, musical composition, and other activities. Computer science and history are her favorite subjects in school. |

Connie, currently a sophomore, joined West Rocketry Club in 2006 as a member of the TARC Team. She also participates in the school Science Olympiad team and math team. In addition to rocketry, science, and math, she is interested in world languages and is learning French, Latin, and Welsh. She also plays harp, piano, and violin. |

Ben Winokur is the lead vehicle designer for the SLI 2008. His other main activity is Boy Scouts. A current life scout, he plans to attend Sea Base next summer and go scuba diving for one week in the Florida Keys. He is also participating is TARC 08 in a veteran TARC team from last year. |

Henry Wroblewski joined Rocket Club in 2006 as a TARC competitor. He played a key role in construction and launch of the rockets. He is a first year SLI participant. Besides rocket club, he has also studied ballet for 10 years, is on the math team, and plays the oboe at West. |
